terry's Eighth Notes
Things are going so well, we wanted to get a jump on April's issue with a few good words about the success of the CD launch.

Shows...
The CD Release has gotten off to an incredible start. We started at the Steeple Coffeehouse in Southborogh MA where we opened for the Crocketts to a sellout crowd. Matt (bass), Kirsti (vocals, flute), and I drove out there (more details in April issue) and we made a big impact. Lots of buzz about being invited back as a main act next time. A wonderful crowd who bought a surprising number of the new CD.

Next was the launch in my hometown area with the full band (3 of us plus Joe Connolly (drums) and David Mosher (mando, fiddle, guitar). We had a gig lined up this spring at the Sterling Heights Coffeehouse and it coincided nicely for the CD release. Sterling Hits runs an annual concert series for the city where they host 4 consecutive Sunday concerts for their residents. Well, we blew the doors out. A sellout crowd of 217 showed up to support the CD and celebrate with us. A lot of people who'd never heard me before were there as part of the annual series. It was a very diverse crowd in age, wage, and stage. We had an audience ranging from the campus young adult crowd from the Metro Detroit Area all the way through the senior set who regularly attend the entire series - one of whom was a friend of my father's who'd last seen me when I was "this high". Everyone had a blast and again we sold an amazing number of CDs and some of the new "love, lose, repeat" T-shirts.

We're off to a great start from the live show perspective. Stay tuned here or go to the website now and then to see what's going on.

Radio...
We're seeing CD sales on the internet from different parts of England and Wales where we've had some airplay-- as well as sales from the U.S. (from San Francisco to New Jersey) where we've also had airplay starting to trickle in. Here's a scattering of the folks who've played us.

Sure is fun hearing my music along side Ellis Paul & Vance Gilbert, Eliza Gilkyson, Patty Griffin, Sloan Wainwright, and Keri Noble (formerly of Detroit as well).

What you can do...
Spread the word!
Radio: Please, if you listen to the shows above, write and thank them and continue to encourage them to play us.

Parting notes
Thank you for your support and enthusiasm. It is overwhelming. The band and I are having a great time and I can say that dreams do come true...especially if you're persistant. :)

Peace,
